On Oahu a lost car key is rarely close to a dealership. Can you make a key if I lost all of mine?

Often, yes. For many makes and models we can generate and program a new key even when no working key is left. Call with your year, make, and model and we will tell you straight whether we can do it on-site.

Do I have to go to the dealership?

Usually not. For most vehicles we cut and program the key on-site, so you skip the dealer trip and the tow that comes with it. For a few newer or luxury models the manufacturer is the only option, and we will say so up front.

Which makes and models do you cover?

Most makes and models on the road. There are exceptions on some very new or high-security vehicles, so it is always worth a quick call to confirm before we come out.

Should I get a spare key made before I lose one?

Yes, and it is a lot calmer and easier than a lost-all-keys call. Making a spare while you still have a working key is quick, and we recommend it before any trip.

How long does it take to make a car key on-site?

For most makes it is well under an hour once we are there and ownership is confirmed. Older or high-security vehicles can take longer, and we give you a realistic estimate when you call with your year, make, and model.

Can you replace a car ignition?
