House lockouts
Locked out at home, down by the harbor or up in the Palisades. We open it without damage where we can, and confirm you live there first.
Lockouts, rekeys, new locks, and car keys, from the harbor shore up to Pacific Palisades. Open every day, 6 AM to 9 PM.
Pacific Locksmith comes to you anywhere in Pearl City, from the streets near the harbor to Momilani, Manana, and Pacific Palisades up the hill. Typical work here is house and car lockouts, rekeys, worn locks repaired or replaced, new deadbolts and smart locks, car keys and fobs, and locks for shops and offices along Kamehameha Highway. The key machine and the programming tools travel with us, so a single visit handles most jobs. Ring us and you get a fair arrival window up front. We are working from 6 AM to 9 PM, every day of the week.

About seven in ten homes here were built before 1980. If you bought one, rekey so every key the last owners handed out stops working.
Decades-old deadbolts and knobs that stick, drag, or snap keys, serviced or replaced when they are past saving.
Upgrade the front door with a new deadbolt or a keypad, installed and set up while we are there.
Businesses along Kamehameha Highway and around the shopping centers: rekeys when staff change, master key systems, exit hardware.
Keys locked in the car at Pearl Highlands or near Pearlridge. We open it without damage, after checking it is yours.
Pearl City runs from the Pearl Harbor shoreline up into the hills of Pacific Palisades, with the H-1 and Kamehameha Highway through the middle.
Three Skyline stations serve the area, all opened on June 30, 2023: Halaulani at Leeward Community College, Waiawa at Pearl Highlands, and Kalauao near Pearlridge. If you are stuck near one, the station name tells us exactly where to go.
Freeway traffic sets the pace here, so we give you an arrival window rather than a fixed time. A street and a cross street, or the shopping center and parking row, is all we need.
Aiea, Waimalu, Waipio, and Waipahu border Pearl City, and we take calls there as well.

Pearl City is mostly settled, owner-occupied housing. About 72 percent of homes are lived in by their owners, the median home was built in 1974, and only about one in eight dates from 1990 or later, per the Census Bureau's American Community Survey.
That means a lot of original hardware. Locks that have turned for forty-plus years wear out, and a key that needs jiggling is a lock asking to be serviced before it strands someone.
Weather changes fast as you climb. Western Regional Climate Center records put average rainfall at about 24 inches a year at the Waipahu gauge near sea level, and about 58 at the Aiea Heights gauge up the ridge next door. Homes higher up the hill get a lot more rain on their door hardware than homes by the harbor.
Not for a locksmith with the right pins and tools. The cylinder comes out, the pins are swapped to match a new key, and it goes back in, usually in a few minutes per lock. Worn or corroded cylinders take longer, and some need replacing instead.
Yes. We rekey between tenants, replace worn locks, and can key several units or doors to a system so you are not carrying a ring of keys. We just need to know you are the owner or the authorized manager.
Usually. Slider latches wear out and stop catching, and most can be adjusted or replaced with a matching latch. If the frame or track is the real problem, we tell you before we start.
