General
All of Oahu. We are fully mobile and come to your home, business, or vehicle anywhere on the island, from Honolulu and Waikiki to Kailua, Kaneohe, Kapolei, Ewa, the central towns, and the North Shore.
We are open every day, including weekends and holidays, from 6 AM to 9 PM. We are not an overnight service, so if something happens in the middle of the night, call first thing and we will be ready when the day starts.
Hawaii does not license locksmiths, so no one in the state can honestly claim a locksmith license. What you can check is that whoever you call is insured, stands behind their work, and is actually local. We are insured, we warranty our workmanship, and the person who answers the phone is the person who shows up.
Yes, we are insured, and our workmanship is warrantied.
You call us directly, and the person who answers is the person who comes to your door, not a dispatcher routing the job to whoever is nearest. We are based on Oahu and we work here, so we are not vanishing after the job.
Lockouts and emergencies
It depends where you are on Oahu and the traffic at the time. When you call, we give you an honest arrival window rather than a number we cannot keep. Lockouts get priority.
We are open every day, including weekends and holidays, from 6 AM to 9 PM. We are not an overnight service. If you are locked out during our hours, that is exactly what we drop everything for.
Stay with your home or vehicle if it is safe, and do not force the door or break a window, that almost always costs more than the lockout itself. Have a photo ID ready, then call us and we will head your way. If a child or pet is locked in a hot car, call 911 first, then us.
We use non-destructive methods first on the large majority of jobs. Drilling is a last resort. If it is the only way in, we explain what that involves up front and repair or replace the hardware so it locks securely afterward.
Yes, and that is a good thing. We confirm you belong at the property with a photo ID, and for a vehicle we check registration or title. It is a small step that keeps your property safe from anyone who should not be getting in.
Car keys and fobs
Yes. We cut and program car keys, fobs, and transponder keys on-site for most makes and models, so in many cases you do not need a dealership visit. A few very new or high-end vehicles are the exception, and we will tell you honestly.
Usually not. For most vehicles we cut and program the key on-site, so you skip the dealer trip and the tow that comes with it. For a few newer or luxury models the manufacturer is the only option, and we will say so up front.
Often, yes. For many makes and models we can generate and program a new key even when no working key is left. Call with your year, make, and model and we will tell you straight whether we can do it on-site.
Yes. Making a spare while you still have a working key is quick and far easier than a lost-all-keys call later. We recommend it before any trip.
Locks, rekeys, and upgrades
Rekeying is usually the right call when your hardware is in good shape but you want old keys to stop working, after a move, a lost key, or a roommate moving out. We suggest replacement only when a lock is worn out or you want an upgrade.
Rekey the exterior locks. You have no way of knowing how many copies of the old keys are out there with past owners, agents, or their friends. A rekey makes every old key dead without replacing the hardware you already have.
Usually, yes. If your locks are compatible we can key them alike so a single key works the front door, back door, and garage. It is a common request right after a move-in.
We do. We can install and set up most keypad and smart deadbolts, and walk you through the codes and app so it works the way you want it to.
Safes
Usually, yes. Most of what we open is small home and office safes, and on those we use destructive methods to get the contents out, whether the safe was inherited, bought used, or the code was simply lost. The safe itself usually does not survive it, so if keeping it matters to you, tell us before we start.
Yes. We install home, office, and gun safes and anchor them so they cannot be picked up and carried out, which is how most stolen safes leave a property.
